BSAC Touch and Go
"Touch and Go" is the name of our own version of a social networking message system. It is like Twitter in that our messages are very brief. We want you to see a couple pictures and read a brief message about something good happening with youth. We don't see enough of that through conventional news.
In aviation the term "Touch and Go" refers to when a pilot lands on a runway then powers up and takes off again. It is a method for practicing landings. In this e-mail campaign the term refers to a brief contact (touch) from us before you go back to your day.
Our Touch and Go program will send an e-mail directly to you with a subject line that looks like this:

Touch and Go is a short message about our work using aviation to get youth excited about academics and achievement. We intend to send these messages out a few times each month to keep you apprised of our activities.
Some of you may have an opportunity to send families or youth groups our way, have resources or contacts to share, come to enjoy our activities or help out, donate money or items, or become inspired to involve youth in your own hobby activities. Some of you may never interact with us at all but we hope you will still enjoy receiving these messages.
About Our E-Mail List: We add e-mail addresses to our system in various ways. If you are on our distribution list it is because we think you may be interested in our work because of your interest or connection with aviation, Fresno/Clovis California, our members, friends or relatives of same.
To Unsubscribe: If you prefer not to receive our messages then simply reply to any of the messages with the word "unsubscribe" at the beginning of the subject line or at the top of the message body. We will retain the information of your unsubscribe request so that if your address is resubmitted by someone we will not re-add it to our list. We highly respect your wish to control what e-mail you receive. If you later wish to subscribe you will need to send a message requesting to be removed from the unsubscribe list.
To Add Addresses to our database: If you would like to provide e-mail addresses of people you think would like to receive our messages then simply send an e-mail to dougbetts@eaa.cc with first and last name and e-mail addresses in the body or in an attachment. The subject line should contain the phrase "BSAC Subscribe". In order to keep record keeping simple we will not maintain records of who provided the addresses. We will not add addresses on your list that are on our unsubscribe list.
Your Name: If our messages come to you addressed as "Hello Friend" then we don't know your first and last name. We would like to know your name. Simply reply to any message and give us your name so that we can associate that with your e-mail address.
