School Projects Completed
This Page will show the names, schools, projects and display location for completed school projects that have been donated to the Bill Smilie Aviation Center.The Bill Smilie Aviation Center is currently in a start-up mode during the summer of 2008.At this time we have no completed projects.Our objective is to stir up interest among students, teachers and parents during the summer so that we can start accumulating completed projects during the 2008-2009 school year.
Mobile Exhibits
Some projects will be exhibited in mobile displays that will be taken to school fairs, school assemblies, business fairs, community events and any venues that make sense.These exhibits will be designed to showcase the projects and further the outreach mission of the Bill Smilie Aviation Center to use aviation to inspire youth to pursue education.
Rotating Exhibits
Some projects will be exhibited at locations through-out the greater Fresno area such as schools, businesses, shopping malls and other public places.These exhibits will be designed to showcase the projects and further the outreach mission of the Bill Smilie Aviation Center to use aviation to inspire youth to pursue education.
Virtual Museums
Some projects will be exhibited through the virtual sites such as You Tube, My Space, this website and others.These exhibits will be designed to showcase the projects and further the outreach mission of the Bill Smilie Aviation Center to use aviation to inspire youth to pursue education.
